The curious camel didn’t know where she was because it was dark out. As soon as she left the plane, a nice lady placed a strand of flowers around Rhani’s neck and said “Aloha”. The camel said ‘Awowa” back. Rhani then told her parents “It shure ish warm outs”. Scumma and Papa agreed, then put her in a nice rental car, and drove to their hotel. In the back seat of the car, Rhani changed into her bathing suit just in case the hotel had a pool. She decided she would look for the pool right after she looked for summ-summms.

Rhani was immediately drawn to her favorite place in the room, the bed. She relaxed for a while, sporting her new tropical, grass skirted bathing suit, and sniffed her flowers. The linens were so plush she thought she was in heaven.

After a quick snooze, Rhani wandered out onto what she heard her parents refer to as the “lanai”. She scrambled up a chair and hauled herself onto the railing. When she looked out, she was amazed at the view! She saw funny looking trees with giant leaves swaying in the breeze. She saw brightly colored birds frolicking and flying over a giant blue ocean. She said “Scumma? Where ish we?” Scumma told her “In Hawaii Rhani!”. Rhani replied “Oh my gawdsh! Dis ish beootifuls!” Rhani then went for a walk around the resort grounds to check things out. She didn’t find any food, but she did go for a swim in a nice grotto. She was so pooped after her swim that she went back to her room and tucked herself in for the night.

Early the next day, Scumma and Papa told Rhani “It is time to go exploring”. “Alwitesh! Wetsh go.” Rhani replied.
